Land and Brush Clearing
Hanson Land Works specializes in comprehensive land clearing operations that cater to a diverse range of needs. We are equipped to handle total clearing projects with precision, whether it's preparing a building site from the ground up, clearing fence lines to enhance property boundaries, or expanding the maintainable area of your yard to create more usable outdoor space.
However, we also understand that some projects may be more focused on aesthetics or sustainable forest management. In such cases, we can adopt a much more selective approach, carefully removing only targeted species or specific trees while preserving the overall beauty and ecological balance of the landscape. No matter the scale or objective of your land clearing project, our experienced team is committed to delivering professional results that meet your unique vision and needs.
Our primary means of land clearing uses a forestry mulcher. This heavy skid steer attachment not only cuts down brush and trees, but then mulches everything into smaller pieces, recycling it back into the soil. It will also grind an inch or two below the soil surface to remove small stumps and further mix the mulched material with soil.
Trees that are too large to be mulched can be felled and limbed. The larger log sections are then stacked and saved for firewood or for lumber, while the branches and tops can be mulched.
