Luke was very flexible with our project. Earlier in the spring our land was unstable due to frost going out and excessive rain. He took a couple of trips out to test the area and finally was able to complete the project when the ground was stable.

His main concern was that the final look of the project would meet our expectations.

We are very happy with the results and will have him do another project for us in the future.

We hired Hanson Land Works for a land clearing project, and they absolutely exceeded our expectations. They were friendly, professional, efficient, and thorough. FANTASTIC communication, job efficiency, and overall quality of work. Luke cleared, mulched, and spread/leveled gravel for our driveway and clearing. I highly recommend Hanson Land Works LLC if you are looking for someone to do a good job clearing your dead balsam at a fair price. Luke Hanson cleared and mulched about 10 acres of standing, leaning or down and tangled dead balsam and spruce for us, while sometimes having to navigate over rocky areas and ledge rock. We found Luke to communicate well, show up when he said he would, and check-in to make sure he was doing what we wanted. He’ll walk your land and give you an estimate of what the project will cost. Luke knows his tree species well, which may not be the same for all people doing this work. He does a great job taking down and mulching the trees you don’t want and leaving the species you do, like leaving 1-2’ small oaks after removing and mulching a tangle of surrounding dead balsam. Luke will work with you to help you figure out your priorities, which will help define what he can do to improve your forest that also fits your budget.
